Nan De Panna Riverside Homestay

I am not sure I have ever been as relaxed as my time staying here. It is well-run by a lovely couple who run it, with a staff that makes you feel about as comfortable as you can get, outside of your own home. The bed was big and comfortable, the bathroom western-style comfortable. Everything works, and works well at that, to include the water pressure. Add to that an urban park-like atmosphere nicely landscaped, a great breakfast, a balcony, a big balcony, with comfortable wicker chairs, a hammock, and a an outdoor bathtub on the balcony, with a rain drop shower head in addition to the shower inside. The balcony is close (but not too close) to the river, with a great river view. Trees on either side of the balcony, and shrubs below and in front, provide shade and a sense of privacy. I was up most of the night one night, and saw two small fishing boats, passing by, checking nets. Other than that, there are a few that come quietly in the morning. Can’t hear them when you sleep. Very enjoyable and relaxing; for me, restful too.
