Plot your mountain escape to this charming self-catering apartment in Chalet Bergrose, set within the car limited village of Wengen. Superb mountain views, a spacious balcony and chalet-style wooden walls, all make Chalet Bergrose the type of place you will be lusting about long after you leave.
Just a short walk of 230 meters from the train station, the apartment is set in a traditional chalet-style building complete with wood carvings. The apartment has a generously sized open plan dining-living-kitchen with French doors out to the balcony.
The master bedroom features king-size bed (180x200cm) and en-suite bathroom, whilst the second bedroom features 2 single beds (each 90x200cm) and is served by a separate shower room.
There is also a communal laundry facility in the basement for your use.

Extremely well equipped kitchen and a comfortable and homely apartment. The balcony must have the best view of the mountains in the Am Acher area. It was difficult to leave.
There was no control over the heating, which was set too high, and did not conform to the instructions in the information pack. It would be helpful to have summer weight duvets in the summer months.

It's a well furnished and well maintained apartment with good view of the Alps. Spacious and enough for 4 people. The booking process and post booking service were very good. Maggie was very helpful with guidance. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
There was no light in the washing machine room. Maybe that can be rectified.

Chalet Bergrose was perfect for our family of four (two adults, two kids). It was super clean, great location, good space, great views from the balcony, kitchen was fully stocked, and comfortable beds. Rachel even provided a fan upon request, which was icing on the cake. We would definitely recommend this chalet!
