Faros Residence - Adults Only

We had the most amazing two-week stay at Faros Residence in Fiskardo and have already booked to return next year – that’s how much we loved it! The apartment was beautiful, but what truly blew us away was the incredible terrace and breathtaking views. We spent hours just relaxing and watching the boats come and go – it was so peaceful and calming. The swimming pool, though small, was perfect for cooling off, and I often had it all to myself. It felt like a private oasis! One of the biggest highlights was the daily servicing of the apartment – fresh bedding and towels throughout our stay made it feel like a luxury hotel, while still having the comfort and privacy of a self-contained space. A special thank you to Violtza, who came daily to clean. She was so kind, friendly, and clearly took pride in her work – it was such a treat having her around. All the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, from assisting with our luggage and shopping on arrival to helping us with next year’s booking dates. They truly went above and beyond to make our holiday special. The location is perfect – just a 5-minute walk to Fiskardo port, where you’ll find a fantastic selection of restaurants. We didn’t have a single bad meal – every place had wonderful food and lovely staff. There’s free parking at the apartments, and I’d definitely recommend hiring a car to explore the island at your own pace. Faros Residence is a gem – peaceful, luxurious, and perfectly located. This was a spectacular property in an idyllic location. The views from the balcony of the bay and harbor were fantastic. Everything had been catered for. The Reception staff (Katherina ) and management and owners were lovely and very helpful. We could ask for no more. All in all it was a perfect holiday in a perfect location with perfect facilities. One of our best holidays !

We stayed in number 9 for a couple of weeks and never wanted to leave. This 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment has everything we needed for a home away from home but with the addition of the most spectacular views of the sun rising over Ithaca and boats entering and leaving the harbour. The light that dusk threw on the lighthouses and shore was beautiful too. It was not possible to tire of the views. The apartment was very comfortable - the bed particularly so - and was very well-equipped. We used the washing machine part way through our stay. The family who own and run Faros Residence are lovely and most helpful. The property is on quite a steep site and there are approx 50 steps from the Residence down to the road into town, but there is also a longer route that can be taken without steps if needs be. Thee is also the option of a taxi for 4Euros if you’re not able to make the walk back up from the harbour centre. We loved our stay entirely and highly recommend the Faros Residence for a touch of something very special.
