Our stay at the palazzo was one of the best stays we have ever had in a long time! The staff and the hospitality they have shown to us was amazing! From the very beginning of our booking until the day we left we were treated like royalty. Caterina always had answers, suggestions, for all our needs. Our breakfast always "yummy" and prepare by the most caring, lovely Laurie! Language was not barrier; you don't need to speak the same language to know kindness. The palazzo is gorgeous inside and out, if you have any mobility issues, they do have an elevator which was A+ for us. All this to say, if you ever are in the vicinity of Squinzano or close to it and need a place to stay where you be taking care of and have and excellent time, I recommend the stay at the Palazzo de Castro. Our stay at Palazzo De Castro was nothing but extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, Romeo, Lori, and Sandra made us feel as though we weren’t just guests, we were part of the palace itself. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality created such a personal and unforgettable experience.
The palace is absolutely stunning. Every room is beautifully restored and filled with charm, making you feel like royalty while still enjoying all the comforts of home. Waking up each morning to a delicious homemade breakfast, prepared with such care and attention, was one of the highlights of our stay.
Our children absolutely loved spending time in the pool, and it was wonderful to have such a relaxing place for the whole family. Squinzano is also the perfect location, peaceful and authentic, yet close to everything you could want to explore in Puglia.
This was much more than a vacation; it felt like coming home to a truly special place. We can’t wait to return and hope to make Palazzo De Castro our annual family tradition. Thank you, Romeo, Lori, and Sandra, for creating memories we will treasure forever!
