One of kind small boutique hotel near the port in Amorgos. I was really not sure what to expect when arriving to Amorgos. It was our first time there and the Amorgion hotel was sort of a last minute booking. From arrival our family of four was completely blown away with how beautiful the hotel was itself with its amazing positioning in the hills and it's view of the sea. We were picked up at the Ferry and the check in process was a breeze. The interaction with the staff was extremely pleasant and personable. We were made to feel like family. The hotel manager went above and beyond to help us with a same day car rental and an amazing small lunch with local wine. The entire stay at Amorgion Village was unforgettable. We loved the main port town with its seaside restaurants and cafes. We also took a ride to the hillside Monastery of the Panagia which was also and unforgettable experience. The only regret we have was only staying for 1 night and truly can't wait to return to this wonderful little island. I would not hesitate booking this small boutique style hotel.

It is a lovely property with a kind and attentive staff. The pool is nice, peaceful, and refreshing with a view of the port. Katapola is a 15 minute walk uphill from the port. A car is advisable to see the beautiful ocean views from the mountain highways. Rooms were cozy; AC was serviceable. The breakfast was very good; no other meals are served

When you are met with a serendipity it is hard to find the words to explain how wonderful it is…I guess that’s why it’s a serendipity, because it’s unexpected. This was not just about the location, the peace and quiet of the island, but about the staff who became family! Alexandro’s is the manger and cook and do it all man, Sophia was our wonderful waitress, Grigorios our driver and everything guy and Eleftheria our very sweet housekeeper. To say we fell in love with each of them would be an understatement. Their care for the guests was top knotch and truly had a family feel. Breakfasts on site for a fee was the highlight of every day! The menu is small, but the food is delicious and the coffee was perfection!! Never have we felt more cared for in all of our travels around the world. Amorgian Village was a short ride from Katapoli and about 30 minutes from Aegeali which is where we came in by ferry. Alexandro’s sent a driver who charged 40 euro for the ride to our hotel up steep winding roads… we were grateful for the ride until we figured things out. We were able to rent a car directly from Alexandro’s on site which was definitely a bonus considering our location. There is so much to see on the island we were happy to have a car. Our room was at the back which was so lovely, quiet and private. We had lots of seating options both in and outside our suite. The pool was sparkling clean and a wonderful temperature.
