We were double booked, given the access code for a room which was already occupied. Since no one is actually at the property, it took over a hour to reach the management. We were finally discovered by a cleaning lady. Who let us into another room. The next day we were rudely told we needed to move to the original room. It was added stress by the manager for no apparent reason.

To begin with - the room was nice. Nice bed and bathroom, nice table and windows. But other than that there’s not much great to say… The check in process was so weird. We had not received any information about how to check in, how to get the key, how to find the right room, or anything else really. We had to call the owner when we got here. It was not very professional. We have also not received anything on how to check out. Every other morning we got woken up by the cleaning lady coming into our room while we were sleeping. She was insisting on cleaning the room, even though we were sleeping. We had to contact the owner about it, but it did not change throughout the stay. She was as far from understanding as possible, and did not handle the situation very professionally. The night of our second last day, we could not get in the bed and breakfast, since the key was not working. We called the owner, who had apperently changed the lock while we were gone, and had not told us about it. Every time we came back to the room, it had a very strong smell of a man perfume. It was kind of uncomfortable as we were staying two girls in the room. It got us thinking if somebody had been in the room, while we had been gone. It is also a joke to call this place a “bed and breakfast”, as the “breakfast” is crossaints and a piece of bread in a bag, which you can find in a small drawer. It was also not filled every morning if we ate from it. To sum up - no professionalism, no information.

This was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had in all my travels throughout Europe. We paid extra for an ocean view room, only to be greeted by scaffolding blocking the entire view — as if staring into a construction site wasn’t bad enough, the constant presence of cranes made it feel more like we were staying at a shipping port than a coastal retreat. If you’re not here for business (and even then, good luck), do yourself a favor and keep going. This place offers nothing in terms of leisure, charm, or relaxation. The beaches are depressing — dirty, industrial, and lifeless. It’s astonishing this is marketed as a coastal destination at all. The “breakfast” was laughable — clearly done as cheaply as possible with zero care for quality or presentation. To make matters worse, the hotel allows pets, which might sound charming in theory, but in reality meant dealing with barking and whining that only made the stay more unbearable. I tried to find at least one redeeming quality, and I couldn’t. Nothing about this place lives up to expectations. No beauty, no peace, no hospitality — just noise, cranes, and disappointment. This hotel is a complete bait-and-switch. Save your time, your money, and your sanity. Go literally anywhere else.

wouldn’t recommend stay here no information we have to call the reception where the hotel is, the view were blocked, have to carried language to the 7 floor because the elevator is too old and didn’t work. For this price yall can find a better place to stay.

The host was very quick with a last minute check-in. The accomodations facade was under maintenance at the time of my stay, which did not bother me. One point of criticism is that the refrigerator in the room made quite some noise. Thanks for the stay.

I would never return nor reccommend this property to anyone. There was construction going on in the front of the building from 5am-10am with non stop banging. The construction of the entire building is also built extremely poor where you can hear a pin drop from the room next door to the person below and above you even with 10 ft ceilings. This building is also in a sketchy part of town not near any major transportation or monuments and did not feel safe walking around after dark. I left the property early after not even 24 hrs because I did not feel safe, the construction and all the noises constantly happening, and the bed was rock hard.

The deluxe room with a view of a building site. This is not a hotel, it’s a few rooms on the 3rd floor of a building, with an elevator that broke down, leaving me to carry bags down 3 flights. The building is filthy, situated on a noisy main road and the sea view are more like a view of the road and a tiny strip of blue. There is possibly one parking space outside the building if you are lucky. The photos of the room are deceiving. Spend your money elsewhere!

Excellent quality at a reasonable price. 19th? century sea front apartment building Grifondoro occupies the third floor with six good sized, air conditioned, guest rooms with in-built bathroom. Finished and furnished to a high standard and spotlessly clean. The inclusive continental breakfast is fresh and plentiful. A steady 20 min walk from Brignole station (airport coach shuttle terminus) or a short bus ride (#13). A similar distance to the city centre or port attractions. To the East a five minute stroll to restaurants and promenade area. Recommended.

DONT DONT DONT DONT even plan to stay in this hotel (flat) you might not be able stay at all. When we arrived at the hotel there nobody, phone that they have provided was not working at all (nobody was picking it up). 1 hour we have tried to get in touch with somebody and no luck. Therefore please avoid this hotel. Hotels.com should take this hotel (flat) from its inventory because this type of places should not be in such great website. If you call yourself a hotel you should have an emergency contact number for any kind of situations. If you read this review please chose another hotel.
