i walk from Hualian Station for 10mins to the hostel, it's quite easy to reach.
the hostel is located above a marble company and the gentleman is nice.
the design of rooms are modern and comfortable.
nice experience.
they provide breakfast coupon, the local TW breakfast. very nice.

I based myself in Hualien to access Taroko Gorge and found the Litho to be a very good place to stay. It is a family-run business located above the jewellery store and opposite the Tzu Chi Buddhist University and hosptial.

I stayed a week with my family of two elementary school boys. Very comfortable stay, clean, fresh toiletries, caring hosts. Location was very convenient and plenty of delicious food shops nearby. To avoid noise from traffic, chose the rooms facing the back alley. Daily breakfast provided by coupons and ordered it from the food shop three doors away. May need a Chinese-English translator for the menu though. Hosts and food staff all very friendly and helpful. 7-11 around the corner.
