This place was a dream come true. Amazing food, the staff was excellent, offering service like fine resorts used to do and the location was perfect. Cant say enough good things. Special shout out to Jesse’s who made our trip the best one we have had in years.

My stay at this island resort was exactly what I needed! The room was very nice and clean. The staff was incredible, and there were lots of options for excursions for the more adventurous people. I am usually adventurous, but my goal for this trip was solitude and relaxation. This resort gave me just that. The only thing my days revolved around was meals which are brought right to you wherever you want. And the food was fantastic!!! Highly recommend this resort. Be prepared for mosquitos and sand flies! I got eaten alive, but it didn’t bother me much.

Shaka Caye is a hidden gem; if you want to have a non-chaotic, very personalized vacation where the staff treat you like you are the only person on the island, Shaka Caye is the perfect location. The staff know you by name, the rooms are kept very clean, the food was absolutely amazing (I will say that the food might have been my favorite part of the trip!), and you have a beach almost to yourself. You will be very taken care of at Shaka Caye! Tricia G.
