Nice hotel 1 block from the beach. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Close to multiple foods. Would stay here again.

Pros: The staff was helpful. We wanted to check in early and they were responsive to messaging, allowing us to get in to our room early. Our room did not have any shampoo which they quickly replaced. There are extra towels and toiletries available in a locker for guests. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach and many restaurants.
Cons: The air conditioning was not working and it was late, my husband noted the filters were completely blocked- he cleaned them and then the air worked. There were also ants crawling on the entirety of our front door on the outside. There needs to be better maintenance on the rooms. The pools also could have used cleaning for a lot of bugs, neither pool was inviting for that reason.

The "old Florida" vibe is fun and the location of this hotel is ideal: close to the beach, to area restaurants, and 6-7 blocks to the Beach Theatre. Comfy bed with nice linens and plenty of towels and the room was very clean. Unfortunately, after a day on the beach in 90 degree weather, when we checked in, our room's AC was not working. Staff did move us to a new room (with amazing AC!). No hot water for a shower though. While the staff are friendly and the spaces clean, obviously their systems (AC, water heaters) need some attention.

Quick getaway with my husband. Loved it and we will come back again. Pool area is very nice. Bed was very comfortable!
