We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Room was basic, clean and adequate. Breakfast was also good, very straightforward buffet style with straightforward selection of food available. Good selection of drinks from the machine. Staff very pleasant and helpful. This hotel provides great value for money, and is especially suited to guests looking for somewhere basic and simple, in a quiet area with easy access to train station and bus stop where you can go into Stuttgart center very easily. Highly recommended.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Hotel Strohgäu! The rooms were spacious, spotless, and perfectly organized, making our stay very comfortable. We all enjoyed the breakfast—it was a great way to start the day! The only surprise was the EUR 7.00 per day parking fee, which we weren’t expecting, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. It's truly a lovely place, and we’re glad we chose to stay there!

I hate giving this poor review, but my room was a sauna, I hardly slept, no fan , and when I stupidly opened the windows I was eaten alive. I asked to move rooms but even though they were half empty I could not move. My tv didn’t work. The hotel is convenient for the Celtic museum in hochdorff but there were no open restaurants on Sunday! Not one,

Toilets not cleaned, I claimed the morning after the first night, when I came back for the 2nd night, toilets were on the same state. No reaction despite the fact they say they will clean. No air conditioning, room quite hot during the night (stayed on 24 & 25 June) Stones pieces in the scrambled eggs 5€ parking fee per night

Bathroom toilet was kind of dirty, and during my stay the blinds stopped working so I had to sneak around my room in the dark. Staff was friendly and recommended a really nice German restaurant down the road. They also called a taxi for us since we had an early morning flight.

A very nice hotel, walking distance to train, food, and shops. I didn’t have this problem but a few others did that when they arrived to check in, they couldn’t get into the lobby and had trouble reaching someone by phone.

Good hotel, was given wrong type of room although requested twice twin bed, received double bed.

I had booked singel room. When I arrived in my room I was very disappointed. Room was outdated, with old furniture, very dark and tiny. Bathroom was outdated too. The look of the room didn't corespond with photos and I have mentioned this fact at the reception asking to swap my room. After some discussion it was eventually done (first of all I have been asked to pay for the up grate which I have not accepted). The receptionist was not very welcome during the swap. The final room which I was given was ok. It had the same look as on the photographs given on the web. The towels were a bit stained but the rest was ok. The big adventage of this hotel was parking and good wi-fi. However I would it recommend it.

Stayed at Novum hotel for 5 days while visiting family who lived 10 minutes away. Small town with very few restaurants and not easily accessible. The hotel only offered breakfast at a high price of €9 which was to include a full buffet, but 2 out of the 3 mornings we went to have breakfast they did not offer the full buffet (no eggs, little food put out for guests). When I asked for compensation of any kind I was told “absolutely not” by one of the stiff staff members. Would not go back and instead stay in a hotel in the city Center.

Stayed there for over two weeks on a business trip. Its a small hotel that has the feel of a small city living where stuff remembers and knows you (nice if you like this kind of environment).Clean, quiet (mostly), great breakfast, a few great food places nearby (including the one that serves famous Turkish Kebab), a bus stop (2 min walking), and a large parking lot.Famous Porsche Museum is only 15 min away (by bus) - would definitely recommend to visit.Other than that, there is not much around so going to most interesting places including in Stuttgart requires a 30-60 min public transportation trip.
