it is lovely small hotel , facing the sea, on the strip of Rethymnon beach enjoying lovely views over Rethymnon city and the endless blue. The large sandy beach is steps away from the property. Rooms are large, new, nicely decorated, clean and those facing the sea have lovely balconies with unrestricted views. Breakfast is very good served at ground floor restaurant with view over the sea. The staff were kind and helpful. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

Amazing hotel, located next to the beach (just need to cross the road). Very friendly staff and attentive. One evening there were rain and they offered us umbrella and there was other small details to make our stay better. We had a room with sea view. Room was clean, had fridge and electric stove, so you can warm your food. Also they had plates and cutlery. There is no parking next to the hotel, but we find a space just in 2 minutes walk. City centre is in walking distance.

The hotel is located next too the beach in Rethymno. Just five minutes walk or two minutes on a Lime bike away from the Old City. The first impression when arriving at the hotel was the friendly staff. We were greeted with some drinks and fresh juice. The room we booked have a nice bathroom with a glass wall as seperator for the shower, the shower has a waterfall/roof shower as well as the regular hand unit. Nice and clean. They also have some Olive shower and shampoo articles free for use. The room has a small kitchen area with fridge and storage. A makeup mirror and bench. A third bed is available in the room, as well as a sitting group with two chairs. The main bed consists of two seperate bed units(~90cm beds). The beds are comfortable, the pillows are a bit too hard for me, so optional softer pillows would be very good and much appreciated. Outside was a huge terrace with beautiful flowers and a sitting group with two chairs. The view we had was to the backside, which is the local area and the hotels garden. Breakfast was pretty good, intercontinental with some local adds. Coffee and juice was served by the friendly staff. All in all I am happy with the stay and the hotel looks to be well furnished and looked after. Medium high standard, I would say 3 star.

We stayed for 10 nights. The hotel lies at the beach and not more than 15 minutes walk from the old town. The room was comfortable and had a small kitchen and balcony. It was quite well isolated from the noise outside, but there were some noise mostly because of slamming doors during the morning. The young lady at the reception was extremely nice and helpful. We were very satisfied with the hotell and would absolutely choose it again.

The hotel itself is not as good as reviews suggest. Not sure why that is. However our main problem was with the agressive owner and robotic reseptionist. I was told by the owner not to speak with the reseptionist and he refused to speak with me because I was not Greek! I really didn’t want to stay under the roof of a racist so I offered to check out if they issued a refund. He threw 40 euros at my wife and said “go”. We paid about £110 for the night but he didn’t seem to understand that. It really was the worst hotel service I’ve ever experienced and I have traveled allot with my work. If you want to avoid staying in the hotel of an aggressive racist I would choose one of the many lovley alternative hotels nearby.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in "superior studio"-room with seaside view. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was nice with variety on every morning. Our room felt modern and view from balcony towards the sea was very nice. We wanted to hang out at the beach a lot and hotel's location suited for this perfectly. Near to this hotel was good restaurants, supermarket, cafeterias and all other things you might need during your holiday. During one day we had only cold water running in our shower, but that was just a minor problem. I would recommend booking a room towards the sea.

Family run in great situation opposite beach and a pleasant flat 20 mins walk into the old town along the seafront. The rooms are finished to good quality, with fridge and two ring hob, and quality complimentary toiletries. We didn’t eat in the restaurant, but the daily varied buffet breakfast is excellent, and all the staff very friendly. We did not want to leave, and will return!

We stayed for 14 days at the Palm Beach Hotel. The hotel i nicely placed by the beach, but still close to the old town. The hotel is small, and a family run business. After a few days we felt that we knew most of the family. I small negativ detail, the cleaning was OK but not excellent. The restaurant served very good food.

I booked a Seaview studio apartment and got a room overlooking a carpark. This was apparently due to over booking. How do you over book??? When I complained I was offered 20 euros but had to explain it was a difference of 40 euros. Never saw the owner after I complained but during check in he went on and on about over booking and since it was dark we didnt realise wed been shoved out the back.Finally got my money back and a gift bag. Breakfast is pretty bad. Eggs and bacon cost extra. Coffee cold. You get bread ,cold meat, and salad. Some cereal. Tasteless.We were told if we went to a certain part of the beach we could get sunbed free if we ordered a coffee but got charged for bed anyway. Rethmynon isnt the place to go here in Crete. Chania is so much better. Other people we spoke to were getting same treatment in other hotels in this strip. Best advice is go somewhere prettier and where your looked after not just a wallet to empty. I would never go back to this hotel EVER!!!!

Natasha and her father were very helpful and friendly hosts. The hotel is located across the street from the beach and attracts a 1euro reduction on subjects (8 euros for 2with umbrella). Our room was fairly small but well appointed with a large balcony facing the hills.

My boyfriend and I loved loved loved this hotel. It was modern and kept very clean. Our room was beautiful. The hotel is family run and the service was outstanding. The hotel also has a restaurant and the food was great. The location of the hotel also cant be beat. A brilliant holiday that was made better by our stay at Palm beach. Natasha and her team were brilliant, the rooms were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. The hotel was perfect in everyway. Right on the beach, walking distance to the old town of Rethymnon. The room was clean and spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the ocean. The owners and staff were awesome and made you feel completely at home. Always concerned about your comfort and needs. A lovely breakfast awaited us every morning and a very nice menu for lunch and evening diner. Food was excellent.

Lovely studio, facing the beach with great seaview. Extremely clean with a wonderful rainfull shower. The best part of this hotel are the family that run it. Nothing is too much trouble and they go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need. As a tea drinker I asked for a kettle which appeared within two minutes. A bottle of champagne also appeared to help celebrate my birthday. The family also have a fish restaurant in the old town Venetian harbour serving the most delicious fresh fish dishes with a 10% discount for all guests staying at Palm beach studio apartments.Well worth a visit.

We enjoyed our stay, our room was modern and the main bed very comfortable however the third bed that doubles as a sofa was hard and not comfortable at all. For the majority of our stay our room was not cleaned until late in the day, this was not an issue for us but may be for other guests. We had a top floor apartment and this caused an issue with hot water at peak times. I would recommend a lower apartment as I believe the hot water pressure priorities from the ground floor up. Restaurant food was very god and we ate in the restaurant on a number of occasions. Breakfast was a simple but good traditional continental buffet choice with one hot selection that is served. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful speaking very good English. I would recommend the Palm Beach and should I return to this resort I would be happy to stay again.

What a lovely experience - warmly welcomed by Latasha at reception and shown a beautiful room with everything one could want for. Great bar and restaurant downstairs with beautiful views over the blue sea. Breakfast included was quite good. Room spotless and cleaned daily. This hotel is in a great location - over the road to the beach, restaurants all close by, old town just a 10 minute walk at the most We could not have been happier - highly recommend
