I came here to celebrate my anniversary and the beds were comfortable but rooms are small. We didnt mind it too much because we were expecting it knowing the history of the hotel. It has a lot of charm and the location was amazing. We would stay there again.

Good location but the room was frankly ridiculous for ***.
We booked a Double Room and could barely fit my husband and I in it. There was no practical space to open suitcases, the bed was extremely small, and the bathroom was tiny, dated, and had old dental floss left in the bin when we arrived.
We’ve visited NYC many times and understand rooms can be small, but this was on another level (and we’ve lived in HK where rooms are typically small). The hotel did agree to refund 1 night after we raised our concerns, which was appreciated, but they should honestly be embarrassed to rent such small and dated rooms at these prices.
For the price, this is by far the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve ever had travelling 50+ countries.

We loved our time here - original old historic building with a good renovation - so some old charm and needed modern upgrades - super friendly staff and we will be back
