The property is insanely beautiful. Slept and woke up to the sound of birds amidst nature. The food was so fresh and flavourful. The property and stay is how I would remember Ecuador. The staff goes above and beyond for everything. I’d stay here again without a second thought.

The location of the lodge is great, great for bird spotting. They got a feeding station right by the main lodge and we saw quite the varieties in just an hour.
Divina and her staff are very friendly and helpful.
The road sign could be farther out at the intersection instead of a couple meters after you turn into the correct road. It took us a while and several wrong turns to find the lodge.
The real and only downside of the lodge is the water. The stream is very very very weak to begin with. And hot water is very inconsistent. First hot water ran out. Then there wasn't any water at all for a while. All while I got shampoo on my hair and it quite cold in the evening. Not exactly the expirence I paid this much for. Throughout the evening, while we were trying to brush teeth and wash up and just wash hands, there were several times when there is no water at all. We had to use the drinking water they provided to wash hands. Maybe that's why they have a sizable drinking water tank in the bathroom at the first place. But if you want a decent shower, sure if won't be happening at all.

The lodge was lovely, but a few small things made our stay less enjoyable.
We brought one bag of laundry, but we were charged for two loads because the staff said it was too much to wash in a single load. Each load cost $12.50. We also found the drinks quite expensive, with a beer costing $7.50.
