We had an amazing stay at Hotel Benaco as a family of four (2 adults + 2 kids). From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and relaxed. The breakfast was just perfect, fresh, tasty, and with lots of choice, something for everyone in the family. The hotel’s restaurant is an absolute gem, easily one of the best meals we had during our trip, delicious food, beautifully presented, and a great atmosphere. The location couldn’t be better. Right by Lake Garda, it’s the ideal base for exploring, walking around, and soaking up the scenery. What really made the difference was the friendly staff and the overall vibe of the place, cozy, warm, and genuinely caring. We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone who wants to enjoy the best of Lake Garda!

We stay there few nights as part of our longer trip around north of Italy - best place ever - recommend to everybody . Easy to commute , parking on site , close by pier , restaurant downstairs , friendly staff . Rooms clean and comfort .

The room was alright. It was small but had everything that we needed and the AC worked well. You need a gold room to access the hot tub area which was not clear when we booked. It costs 10€ to get this access for normal rooms. When we were given access to the hot tub it was set to 74 degrees F and took 8 hours to get to a reasonableness temperature. Although this is not necessarily the hotels fault it was sad because it was rainy during our stay. We wished we would have stayed in Riva Del Garda because it was way bigger are there were more activities to do.

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay at the hotel, good breakfast included, reasonable price, place really well located. I would just mention that we tried to have an aperitive at their restaurant, there were like 10 tables available outside and it would have taken 20 minutes before going out for dinner, but it was not possible even if we were guests as they said that the tables are only for having dinner. I didn’t find it polite.

The room was immaculately clean and well appointed. The staff is very friendly and attentive to all your needs.The hotel has been nicely renovated on the inside and has a beautiful collection of paintings of the area covering a period of over a hundred years of the area by various artists. The location is beautiful, on the northern shore of Lago di Garda and in the center of the beautiful and lively little town of Torbole, but also within easy walking distance of trails that go up into the nearby mountains.

Nice little hotel in a perfect location, set in a historical building with friendly and accommodating staff and nice breakfast. The rooms are clean and well preserved, and comes with the standard you can expect from an Italian three-star hotel; not great, but not bad either. The upgrade to gold standard is worth it for the balcony (and view) alone. I personally found the bed to be very hard, and [at this time of year at least] the rooms are lacking a duvet. The restaurant is worth a try if you don't have the energy to find something else. Great parking facilities, but make sure to pre-book if you want the one in the hotel courtyard (at an extra cost).

Benaco is a clean tidy and well run hotel. Breakfast and resturant very good. You can gave you breakfast almost at the lakeside in the morning sun. I stayed with family, and service and staff was very pleasing. I first got a room without a view, but they changed it to a very nice one at first opertunity! The hotel has a terrace with tables sunbeds and a outdoor jaccuzi. Last one mentioned is free for superior rooms to use, but can be rented for a reasonable fee on daily basis for all guest. The beach is only 2,3 minutes away. I will highly recomend Benaco due to its quality, its staff and location. Would love to come back

We loved this hotel! The decor is a bit old fashioned but is authentic and added to the charm. We had a room on the front with a beautiful view of the lakefront as can be seen in the attached photo. The service at reception was not the best but all the other staff were Fantastic. We ate in the restaurant in the evening which was great as well. The area itself is stunning and this hotel is in a prime location. Our only real complaint was that we had to leave in the morning!

Had problems with pipes, the occured noise was quite disturbing at night. The female waiters were extraordinarily friendly. Breakfast was good, there was fruit, cheese, joghurt, pancakes with chocolate, eggs you could boil yourself, scrambled eggs, muesli, I enjoyed the normal coffee not the instant one you get normally in hotels in Italy. We had dinner once which was delicious! Parking lot at the hotel was convenient to unload the car. The cheaper parking space is 10 minutes by foot away. Was very good.

Great history of the hotel and the family owners, all throughly researched and put in a brochure. Collection of paintings is amazing too. Owners are lovely people. Very friendly and helpful, great service. We were offered a room upgrade at no extra costs. Car parking onsite was important to us and a reserved space was awaiting us in the evening. We had a clean and quiet room with comfortable beds, aircon and an updated bathroom. The roof terrance with the jacuzzi was a real treat compared to the busy beach by the lake. We didn't realise how much you can do in the area and wished we had planned more time here.
