Clean room, nice latin jazz,
wonderful breakfast buffet, classy bar restaurant, convenient to downtown museums, cathedrals , shopping , cafes, .... pharmacy..everything.

We were very dissatisfied with our stay here. We saw that many of the reviews were positive and were so excited about getting to Loja and being in such a nice looking hotel and one with a hot tub. However, when we arrived (15:15) our room was not ready. They told us to come back in one hour. We asked if we could get a discount as our room should have been available from 14:00 and they said no because they had people checking out late(?) We walked around for 2 hours and then they showed us to our room. When we got to the room, there were poo stains in the toilet and tissues left in the bin, only one towel, and only a small amount of toilet paper left. It was obvious someone had used the bathroom and it was not clean. It was 18:00 at this time and they said to go swim and someone would clean it. We were excited about getting in the hot tub, but it was so tiny and already very full of people. So we just went out and walked around again. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was nice. Overall though, we were really disappointed with the way the front desk dealt with the situation and do not recommend it to anyone visiting Loja.
