The hotel was well situated in relation to the Porta Susa train station which was important to us. However upon arrival we found our first challenge, a steep staircase, my wife being on two crutches and myself struggling with the size and weight of our cases. The very helpful receptionist, Firas, brought our baggage up to the lobby and subsequently up a second small flight of stairs between the elevator and the room. The room itself was comfortable, spacious with plenty of storage although at the time of day we arrived was not very light, we discovered shutters half down and a balcony, however as there was a thunderstorm we didn’t make use of that. There were plenty of electrical outlets although nearly all of them were the Italian Type J Europlugs rather than the more common circular Type C. The TV showed only Italian Digital Terrestrial channels as far as I searched, nothing on demand or other languages. We got a good night’s sleep despite the thunder as the shutter gave soundproofing. The in-room safe appeared to malfunction.Reception arranged to unlock it and we decided not to chance it a second time. My wife usually irons clothing when we arrive. We were a bit taken aback that there was no option to borrow an ironing board and iron, but the ever helpful reception gave us access to an ironing room instead. We enjoyed breakfast on day 1 but received too few of the items I had ordered to take with us for breakfast on day 2 as we departed before restaurant opening time.

This was a very comfortable small hotel, conveniently located, with extremely helpful staff and a hot breakfast buffet. The rooms are comfortable and warmly decorated and it's an easy walk to restaurants, cafes and a local outdoor market.

Room (4 beds) was big enough to spend even more than one night. Very tidy and in good condition. Breakfast was great and they offered a nice assortment of gluten free food for people with coeliac disease. Very kind staff.

The description mentioned that parking was available, but we had to pay €20 a day for it! We booked this hotel because we believed parking to be included. They should have been clear in their description that parking was available “for a lot of money”.

We stayed at this hotel in early June with my wife and two kids. Our Torino train was late, which caused us to miss our train to Rome. Knowing we wouldn’t make our connection I booked this hotel at 10:52 PM to ensure we would have a place to sleep. When we arrived to Torino near midnight, TrenItalia said they had arrange for a hotel room for us at this same hotel, which meant we had two reservations. When we arrived at the hotel the front desk person said our hotels.com reservation was non-refundable (true) and that he could not provide a full or partial refund. He suggested I call the manager the next day. When I called the next day, the manager wasn’t available so the hotel suggested I send an email and they would respond later in the day. I sent the email but received NO response. I called two days later and once again the manager was busy and couldn’t come to the phone. They said they would respond to my email that day, but once again didn't. After my third call 2 days later I was still unable to reach the manager, but I got an email response. The response was dismissive and said they could not issue a refund because they had held the room for me. The room was only booked from 11 PM to midnight (when I cancelled), and no one else was coming at that point. I sent a response to the hotel, and after more than a week have not heard back. While I think I should get at least a partial refund, that’s not the main point. The staff is rude and unresponsive to customers. Beware.

This was opposite the station, over the pedestrian crossing. The room was well furnished, with good lightning, and very smart. The main room had a door, then a small corridor leading to the bathroom, then another door to the hotel passageway, which kept out any hotel noise. Curtains blocked unwanted light. WiFi was good. There was a safe and fridge. It was easy to walk into the city centre, or there are trams and buses. There are food outlets nearby. Staff were friendly and efficient. There is a lift, although there are some steps to the front door, if that matters to you

*2 people, 1 night* The hotel was perfect for a night's kip between trains to/from Porta Susa: convenient, very comfortable and well equipped. The only drawback was having to lug suitcases up the steps to reception; the man sitting next to the receptionist looked as though he was there to help, but he didn't.

The hotel is old which gives it a certain charm. The staff are absolutely excellent and very helpful. Breakfast superb. Rooms are large and comfortable - the only gremlins are those that others comment on, no kettle (an English thing) and the road noise can be quite invasive until you get used to it. The hotel is about a 20 min walk to the centre of Turin and a few more mins to the Palace. Overall great location to visit Turin.

Very good hotel, great location, ±20 min from Torino airport, and just nearby Torino Porta Susa station (Train, Metro and nearby bus and tram lines), some good sites and restaurants just walking around. The hotel is very clean. spacious rooms, helpful staff, good breakfast (buffet), and highly recommended for families and/or business (close to OGR Innovation center and other business locations).

I was impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and character of the building. The staff were accommodating and friendly and answered my questions promptly before arrival. The location was brilliant for Porta Susa and cafes etc. The buffet breakfast had a varied selection and was good value

Very friendly welcome and throughout our stay. Spacious clean room and a good shower. Good selection at breakfast. Very convenient for Porsa Susa station, and not far from the centre either. Very pleased we decided to stay here, and we would recommend it highly.

A little gem of a hotel next to Torino Susa Station. Has a restaurant serving local cuisine but we opted for the great Sushi place two doors down. Large spacious room and bed in a historical setting. We were very pleased. Also has a garden but don't sit in it from early evening as the mosquitos are vicious

First of all the pictures from hotels.com do not match the room we arrived to. Sad decor in the family room. Just one big room with lots of tables and cupboards. A lot of noise from the road. Cold, so we had to ask for extra blankets. Breakfast was a farce - we had to order what we wanted and at what time - because of Covid there was no buffet. Breakfast arrived approximately 30 minutes after the agreed time - but only cheese, ham and coffe. After waiting another 15 minutes we asked the staff if the rest was coming - ie bread to put the cheese on. Nothing happened. We asked again - because otherwise we would miss our flight. And still we got only cake (which we had not ordered) and croissants, no bread, no cereal, no milk etc. Coffe was good though. And the staff at the reception very helpfull. But not enough to ever choose this place again.

The restaurant its very high. I eat me and my friend one pic of meet. Its so small size tow fingers. One coal. + 2 small beer for about $100 . The meet its only tow bites.

This is a fantastic hotel especially for the phenomenal and low price. It's just a few steps from Porta Susa-so if you've taken either the train from somewhere or the bus from the airport you have only a couple of blocks to roll your luggage. Staff is friendly and professional. They are totally fine with early check-in if your room is ready. IF not you can leave your luggage and get some suggestions and a map from them for where to go for lunch or coffee, etc. You have a clean comfortable room with a desk for work, WiFi and a great buffet breakfast in the morning with all different options (so regardless of allergies you will find something) including meats, cheeses, fruits, yogurts, cereals, pastries, boiled eggs, coffee, etc. I stayed in a different hotel the week before in Turin and paid 30% more for much less. You have about a 25 minute walk to the center-so this is not the hotel you choose if you want to be super centrally located-but it's great if you only have a night or two and want to get to your hotel very quickly from the airport or Porta Susa stations. Plus there is a great gelateria next door and plenty of dining options relatively nearby (including a gluten free pizzeria that is a 10 minute walk called Dolcelia). I wish I'd stayed here both of my incoming and outgoing nights in Turin
