Sofia Pension

Sofia Pension is a lovely hotel with amazing, very helpful staff. The location is very convenient, situated in the Old City - about a 10-minute walk from any gate. It’s central, yet on a quiet street, and close to some great restaurants and bakeries. The breakfast is quite basic, but on busy days it’s helpful to have the option to eat at the hotel. There is also a beautiful rooftop area. We stayed for a week with our 1.5-year-old. We hired a car and left it outside the Old City walls, where there was always free parking available.

Beautiful property, lovely host, clean rooms with lovely surroundings, and air conditioning. Close amenities and to the town.. No parking, but easy to park outside the old town gates. Will be going back.

Breakfast was very nice ont the terrace. Rooms were comfortable and clean and staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Sofia was not there during our stay because she was awaiting knee surgery. But Foula, her daughter, and Filippos, Foula's son, filled in seamlessly. They were so helpful and had some great suggestions. Cars are not allowed into Old Town and when we left Foula was unable to get us a golf cart to take us to the taxi meeting point outside the walls. She arranged for a taxi that had a permit to come inside the walls and then she walked with us to the taxi pickup point to make sure we got there on time. Walking around Old Town can be very confusing, even after being there for 5 days. We will stay again and had a great time!!! Thanks so much Foula and Filippos!!!!!!

A very nice local pension in a convenient location inside the old walls of Rhodes. Met Sofia on our last day. Beautiful flowers and old world charm.
