    What a clean comfy and cute cottage to stay the night in! Little verandah. Pool looked lovely, the surroundings are clean so well looked after, safety was great with patrolling staff at night. Very peaceful and quiet. The staff at front desk were lovely. There's a restaurant which looked great but due to timing didn't go there. Very very nice place.

    I booked my stay using a 3rd party app, and found out upon arrival Freespirit required a $100 deposit. When I mentioned the lack of communication around it they told me i should book direct instead.

    Would not stay there again one of the managers running the restaurant messed up like 7 orders to the point i seen 6 kids and 2 parents have to leave the premises to go get food some where else when the manager was called out for her mistakes she lied and let on she didnt know what was wrong ithe food was terrible i cant have sea food and when my stake came it had prawns on it i nearly had a reaction i had a young child with me who was a little under the weather there was a qr code on the fridge for the restaurant didnt work so callled the night staff as reception was closed to be told get out of your room and walk to the restaurant he was very abrupt on the phone i raises everything with a staff member on the desk the next day she infomed me the lady at the restaurant was a manager and the man on night always reacts like this ive lived in darwin for 12 years it was my first time staying at free spirit resort and will be my last very bad service and didnt care the manager should be fired i was supposed to get a call the day of check out from the day manager well im still waiting a week later the place is a joke especially the fact young children were going hungry for a lady's mistake and she just played stupid its a disgraceful especially for the price with dinner better off staying at the backpackers at least they can take orders and staff know how to do there jobs
