The hotel was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is perfectly situated for access to the Grand Place, and the Christmas Market in Place Rihour which was the main purpose of our visit. Only a 5 minute walk to Lille Flandres station and 10 minutes to Lille Europe is also very useful.

Traditional interior as per picture. Clean room, great daily housekeeping. As a family of 5 with young children, we required taking multiple breaks thru out the day, location cannot be any better. Staffs are outstanding, extremely helpful, we were stranded from eurostar power issue. Hotel has been kindly offer us the room we stayed for an extra night. We have made the best choice of our stay! Highly recommend. Thank you

Ideal location for rail travellers, only an easy 15 minute walk from Lille-Europe station and less than 5 minutes from the Grande Place. Spacious and quiet room but ensuite facility extremely small and cramped. Staff were very friendly and helpful..

The hotel was in an excellent position in the centre of Lille, surrounded by shops & restaurants, but not too noisy. With an old world charm, clean & in good order & lovely comfortable rooms & communal areas. Staff were friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay again.

During my check of the accomodation, I checked the reviews and all of the reviews mentioned that the hotel is extremely hot in the summer as there is no AC. Now the reviews were already 2 years old and the hotel always replied stating that they are working on updating their rooms to beat the heat. They have done exactly nothing. It was 30 degrees Celsius at night, and even with an open window it did not cool off. They did not even provide a ventilator or anything to help with air flow. Furthermore, the hotel is located at an extremely busy street full of beggars so having an open window meant we were up until 4-5 AM because people were screaming in the street. We ultimately checked out after 1 night (earlier than what we paid for) and the guy at the front desk did not even ask why as they definitely knew what the issue was. A big rip off as the hotel was pretty expensive for the ‘luxury’ three stars. Should be more like 1-2 stars max. Definitely spend the extra 20 EUR to be in a Best Western or similar hotel one block further to be able to sleep.

Nice hotel for business stay, was very clean and tidy. Room was extremely quiet which was great for sleeping. Maybe some updating needed and a few extra options at the continental breakfast, but other than this it is very good for the nightly rate especially being in the city centre and compared to other hotels close by.

I had a great solo stay here. Every staff member I interacted with was incredibly friendly and helpful. I paid $14 for breakfast each morning, which felt like good value for money with hot drinks, juice, bread and pastries, cereal, fruit etc The hotel is in a good location for walking to everything you are likely to want to visit during your stay. The only 'downside' is that the room would get very hot during the day. This was not really a problem for me as opening the window did cool it down enough to sleep, but if you are staying in the middle of summer when the weather is much hotter this could be an issue. I would really recommend staying here!

Great hotel right near the old town and easy walking distance from Eurostar station. Staff very friendly and helpful, made to feel really welcome. Arrived early with intent to store luggage, but room was ready so they let us in early. Only down side was no kettle in the room to make a cuppa when i woke up.
