The Gammelgården is a gorgeous country inn with a truly excellent restaurant and beautiful, spacious, and extremely comfortable rooms in several separate outhouses, all of which gives this place a generous, warm, friendly feel. We loved our stay here, short as it was, not least because after a couple of cities and some fairly long drives, we were hoping for good food in a relaxed setting, and a fabulous bed to fall into at the end of the night, all of which was here amply provided.

Hard to find fault, really. I seem to remember being turfed out of the bar's lounge a little earlier than we would have felt strictly necessary, but it's place of tranquil repose, this, not a metropolitan hub, so that was perfectly understandable, I suppose, and we probably needed the sleep anyway.

The property was charming an the location is very good

The decoration in the main facility. Lots of stuffed animals. The staff in the kitchen needs to pay more attention to guest with requests that have been approved by mail weeks before arrival.
