I don't get the overly positive reviews. Very mediocre 3* hotel in my opinion. It seems like all the rooms are situated at the ground floor and directly by the street (or by the nice garden). They are a bit spacious but beds are incredibly small (probably 80cm), almost feels like a child's bed.
Rooms are also rather old, cabin shower is rather small and not nice to look at with various imperfections (not nicely covered mold spots, discoloured tiles etc.). The other reviews hyped me up for the breakfast which is also mediocre at best. The italian pastries are probably the best part of it, the coffee is utterly awful for an italian hotel. Such a shame. The selection one can choose from is rather small. The staff is very nice however and consists mostly of young people. Probably, because they are 'cheaper'. Though they did not permit to be outside in the garden in at night which is not tolerable. This hotel is 2* superior at best in my honest opinion (and I've been to a lot of different hotels all around Europe).
