Courtyard by Marriott Chino Hills

They are under construction so things were a little closed off but it was a beautiful hotel still and the room was great.

Under repair, remodeling whatever. We were never notified when we booked our stay. It never said that on the website. People at the want to be front desk said it was and continued to argue with us that it was. It wasn’t the case. The pictures on the website showed a completely different picture than what we saw. Nothing was available like stated. Lobby wasn’t even ready for guests, rooms were barely nice. Bed was horribly uncomfortable. Wires hanging out everywhere, construction workers everywhere with hazards everywhere. No pool like shown, no breakfast like shown. Overall awful stay. Very unhappy.

Room was clean, staff is super friendly. AC works very well. Building is under construction right now, but got a great rate.

Was woken up due to needing to move my car. Parking lot was under construction…

The facility was not adequate. It was still under construction. Breakfast was not provided like advertised on your application. Couldn't find ithe hotel because the name was changed or was called a another name before. And there was no information in regards to the name change. There was no shower curtain and staff had to bring one and put it in.

There was no breakfast, it was messy, and I refused to give the receipt for various reasons.

The dates for my reservation were wrong and they refused to let me change the dates. Also, no one answers the phone when you call.

I usually don’t write on reviews but I need it for this one . Front desk staff needs to be more friendly , smile a little more to their costumer . When I would ask for a question they would seem bother to answer you . Another then that even thought is under construction it was a good stayed .

It was under renovation dust and construction everywhere only 1 floor available and nothing was else available

Front desk personnel seemed like they didn’t know what they were doing. First room I was given, the door latch was not working, door wouldn’t close. Second room, there was not even a mini bar of soap to wash your hands!! Definitely not what I was expecting

This hotel is still under modification, the lobby and main entry are mess up due to construction and no sign to where to check in. it is unsafe.

It sure would have been nice to know the hotel is going through a complete renovation BEFORE I got there. Major to the point I couldn't use the front door. It won't happen again.

Reservation with Chino Hills Hotel. All markings on building said Marriot. Upon entering the lobby discovered that the entire hotel was undergoing major renovations. The lobby walls and celling were completely cover with bare sheetrock. The floor were covered with plastic. A single desk and computer served as the only furnishing. After registering went to my room to discover that there was no electricity. Went back down the hall and elevator both of which were covered in plastic to the front table. To the person there that I had no electricity in my room. She then told me I needed to put my room key in a slot in a box on the wall next to the door. I told her that would have been nice to know before I went upstairs to my room. Went to bed and around 12:30 a loud alarm sounded for about 10 seconds. Still not sure if it was the smoke detector or fire alarm. I checked out the hallway and out the window and didnot see nor hear anything. I then realized that there was no phonr in my room. after about 20-30 minutes i went back to sleep. Got up, showered and left never to retrun again.

Honestly it was terrible. The hotel was under construction and we never got informed. Never felt more unsafe in this hotel. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, not once but twice. No breakfast even though it says it’s included. The quality of the hotel room was okay, except from the drawers being broken. We kept hearing guests running thru the halls making noise at night, the hotels didn’t even give out water. Bad service wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The hotel is under construction. Next time, I will not use it

I was lead to believe that the had a hot tub and the pic of it being a nice hotel but there was a lot of lose hanging

I stayed at this Hotel for 6 days. Requested housekeeping everyday and not once did they ever clean my room. I needed towels and there was no one to answer the phone for my request and when I went downstairs to the lobby there was nobody there. I couldn’t even take a shower on my final day there because no clean towels and no one to request them from. Horrible construction mess inside hotel with dust everywhere. Will never ever stay here again. I do not recommend. Highly unprofessional people.

Property is under construction. Front desk is messy and no breakfast during construction. There is nothing mentioned online or property is not informed ahead of time about construction.

They should be allowed to take customer when they are remodeling. It is dusty and awful. Never going back again.

no amenities and we were completely unaware the entire hotel is being renovated, sheets were not clean, room fridge was broken and desk was dirty and covered with stains. And yes, the hotel construction was very noisy throughout the stay.

Dirty bathroom pee on floor called the front desk asked for another room. She said they were sold out and would come up and clean the room 15 minutes later she came up with another set of keys for another room I feel I was lied to.

The whole place under construction 0 amenities down to some of the basics

The property was under construction and I was not notified before my stay, so when I got there the lobby was taken apart all they had was a desk and table. They told us that the pool, gym are not in use and there is no breakfast as well, the workers started at 8am-5:30pm and most of it was under the room I was in. This was so unexpected and the property said that they would not refund or discount anything. I will not be staying there ever again and will not be using Expedia because they also did nothing afford me $50 credit on the website, unfortunately that does not help the situation now and for what I paid to stay at this location they should be doing something.
