Given that we were transferred to the main Chateâu, the room was disappointing. Yes, there were robes and slippers but otherwise it was basic - no opportunity to make tea/coffee. The shower was unreliable in its control. Poorer experience than when staying several times in 'la Métairie' Very disappointed with our stay and may not return. 'La Distillerie' also less enjoyable than previously.

My only problem was late night access, let them know if you are delayed. Also, access to some of the outside rooms is via stairs, and if you have mobility issues, this can be tricky, ask ahead of time.

The BW hotel itself was closed and had to check in at another hotel, 150 meters away. This is also where the breakfast is served the next morning, so had to walk back and forth through the rain twice. The room was in another, 3rd building. Also, I booked this hotel because it had a gym and although the pictures and description say otherwise, the lady at the reception (of the other hotel) said there is no gym at all. So another walk through the rain for nothing. So all toghether a bad experience for quite a big price

I love this hotel and have used it several times as a stop off before driving back to England via the Tunnel. The French Chateau is a perfect setting and I have seen many French groups using it for weddings and work meetings.

We were in room 302 opposite the restaurant, music, noisy customers and the worst smell of cigar smoke. Do not stay here if you want a good night sleep after a long drive. No air conditioning, it was 34c, and you can’t open the windows due to cigar and cigarette smoke. The worst night sleep ever😢

We were grateful for an upgrade to the old part of the hotel complex. Unfortunately the gastronomic restaurant was closed except for breakfast, but we had a good meal at the Vasco. Very helpful staff and exceptional breakfast.

This hotel works well for us being situated off the main route to the Channel Tunnel It has some very nice buildings and connects alongside another hotel that shares its facilities for breakfast The staff are always friendly and welcoming.

Property conversion has real character. Easy to find just off the A26 motorway. Excellent food, service and atmosphere at the Distillerie restaurant. WiFi access troublesome. TV channels limited. Food a bit expensive

Great place to stay; lovely building, large, stylish and comfortable room. we stayed here with our dog at no extra charge. Beautiful adjacent grounds to walk around in the morning. Conveniently located off the main road. There is a nearby town with boulangerie, and there is a restaurant next door (we arrived late and didn’t try it). We have stayed here once before and we will always stay here on our drive down south. It is about 50mins drive from the euro tunnel.

Great place to stay only an hour from the tunnel. The setting is delightful and it is well placed for travel links to sights around. We ate in two of the three restaurants, the La Distillerie and Le Vasco. Not cheap but food was very good and service was superb. We had an exclusive room which was spacious and comfortable and worth the extra.

A very comfortable and welcoming stay overnight. We drove for 8 hours and were greeted warmly. Our room was very comfortable with a view of the neighbouring farm which entertained our dog. The restaurant served great local produce with good wine. We will be back!

This would probably be OK but the weather was truly appalling (wind & torrential rain for almost all of my 3 days) and hibernation seemed a good option. The continental breakfast was OK - cereal, fruit juice, breads, pastries, fruit & a selection of jams, cooked meats & cheese.

Excellent service, room very comfortable but tended to be noisy due to farm traffic if on an outside room. Good for one night stays. Extremely brilliant restaurant, Le Gourmet within the complex, food and service just as the description of Gourmet suggests.
