Unfortunately our experience was not a positive one. We came to Canton for a wedding -we typically love staying at the LaQuinta brand, this hotel does NOT meet LaQuinta standards!
Upon arriving we pulled into the breezeway, my 6 year old and I got out to check in. Once we opened our car door we were overwhelmed w the smell of marijuana. There were two gentlemen standing by the trash can on a laptop- we proceeded inside. Once inside we waited …and waited only for one of the gentlemen that was outside, that we walked passed to finally come in and check us in!
We get to the first room, open the door and all 3 of us were taken back by the pungent odor - almost a moldy body odor smell. Go back downstairs, request a different room…told it will be 15-30 min. Okay no big deal we will let our little one swim …there are NO chairs at the pool - no tables - now towels - just the pool.
Get to our room, you can see from the photos it was not ideal but we had no other choices. The sheets were dirty , carpet dirty, fridge did not work.
The hotel clerk cooked an indian cuisine in the kitchen that permeated the entire facility.
We met a few others equally dissatisfied. The hotel should not be under the LaQuinta franchise

Unfortunately this stay did not at all meet our expectations we typically experience staying with the LaQuinta brand. Upon arriving, we exited the car in the hotel breezeway and was met w an OVER POWERING smell of marijuana. There were 2 males on a laptop by the trash can. My 6 year old went inside ….waited …and waited, then one of the men from the breezeway comes in finally to check us in. We go to our room and it was an overwhelming smell of mold - so strong we couldn’t stay in it. Go back downstairs, wait for the hotel clerk again. Need to change rooms, says it will be a half hour or so. We thought we would let our little one swim while we wait. There are NO Chairs at all in the pool area. No pool towels. We got to our room and I’ve shared photos. The sheets were dirty (luckily I always carry my own) The floors were not clean and I also shared photos of the bathroom. The room refrigerator did not work at all. The hotel clerk was cooking indian cuisine that permeated the whole facility. We ran into a couple of other families that were equally disappointed .
