The staff were very nice, very accommodating. When we checked-in, a drunk man came in, shouting he was "Pere Noel" (Santa) and took a lot of sachets of coffee creamer. It was surreal and I have no idea how anyone would respond to that, let alone at 10pm, alone (if we hadn't been there) in the lobby. The room was very basic, but was clean and not overbearing, with a window view of the railway tracks and mountain. As described, except there isn't a room with one double and one king size (as stated on this website, but not by the hotel). The breakfast was a good continental breakfast; the highlight attraction is a fresh orange juice-squeezing machine, where you put in oranges and watch it squeeze your juice. There was pain-au-chocolat, croissants, two cheeses, a toaster, coffee machine with multiple options, slices of ham and honey/jam tubs - with orange and apple juice (separate from the machine), and water. Also, some fruit compote and yoghurt.

This Ibis hotel is ultra-convenient, comfortable and good value, with all facilities top class. Breakfast is good and starts conveniently at 6am for people catching an early train. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. We have stayed before and will stay again when visiting or stopping off in Chambery.

Good base only a moment from the station and five mins from the town centre. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom quite basic but clean and good shower. Very quiet room even though overlooking the station. Friendly English speaking staff.

Everything was positive, the only “but” would be the limited options for breakfast. But it starts at 6am so it’s great if you plan to lesve early. I would book here again.

The room is ok, it does the job, it's very basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. It's a place just to sleep. The room is not pretty, the bathroom is slightly old and the views are to the train rail, however there is a double window so you don't hear any noise. I would recommend it for a couple of nights. Also, it's just 2 min walk to the station.

I only stayed one night at the end of my ski holiday before flying out home. Room was clean, beds comfy, room quiet and dark enough with blackout blinds, TV had a English news channel. Breakfast was varied enough, reception staff very helpful.

The hotel is close to the station but the area is very quiet & only a short walk to the town centre. On arrival I found the hotel was being converted to an Ibis Styles & two floors already had refurbished rooms. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was excellent & the air conditioning was good. the buffet breakfast offered a good choice & all the staff were friendly & helpful.

Great location, however had no water and the fire alarm went off three times during the night. The heaters weren't functioning that well and I had to wear a jacket and shoes indoor.

The staff at this hotel are very friendly and welcoming. They are also very helpful in navigating Chambery. The hotel itself is in a great place. Just a 2 min walk from the train station and close to the city center with lots of shops, restaurants, and historical attractions. Also free wifi and breakfast is available in the morning as well, though you have to pay for that. Would definitely stay there again.

Our 4th visit to Chambery . We had seen this hotel before but never used it. Ideally located next to bus and railway stations. We arrived to be greeted pleasantly by a friendly young lady. Our room on the 4th floor was bright with a small balcony. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom facilities basic but clean . Despite facing on to a busy road the room was well insulated from sound when the windows were shut. Chose to have breakfast outside hotel as there were several small cafes and bakery shops nearby. The town has a variety of restaurants and bars to accommodate most tastes I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Chambery for a short time and planning to use the public transport in the area

A good central location, you can walk to the city centre. Parking is limited - if you want a garage space, book before you arrive. Otherwise take pot luck with the on-street parking.

Location right next to Bus Terminal and also RR station. Very clean. Staff very, very helpful. Breakfast filling and delicious. Comfortable room and kept very clean. Price was very reasonable. Would definitely stay there again, and can recommend it to even the fussiest travellers. Has everything one needs. I give it the very highest rating.
