The hotel was in walking distance of the train station and the centre of Straubing. The room was clean and it had a nice welcoming note left on the bed with pillow mints. The bed was comfy and the hallways were quiet to ensure a restful nights sleep. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. We could also use the spa at the hotel. Just a note on the spa, it is a fabric free zone so people use it naked, of course with a robe or towel in the saunas.
Overall our stay at Hotel ASAM was fantastic!

A last minute Hotel reservation, as we were traveling through the region, worked out really well for us.
