Our room at the Loden Hotel, Vancouver was the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Having traveled all over the world and stayed in hundreds of hotels, cleanliness is top on my list - the Loden exceeded my expectations! Not only is the service excellent, but the room is spacious, impeccable, quiet and comfortable. I would classify this as a luxury boutique hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. If you need a taxi, it's there in 3 minutes. The restaurant is excellent (though a bit loud) and the location is central to getting anywhere with a short taxi ride or a 20 minute walk. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Staff at the Loden were VERY accommodating. Renovations being done on the upper levels of the hotel resulted in some intolerable noise. The hotel addressed the issue immediately - upgrade to another room away from the renovations. The hotel staff made the experience excellent.

This is a beautiful hotel in a nice location. What really makes this hotel exceptional, though, is the friendly and accommodating service. The staff were very welcoming and even knew my dog’s name when we arrived. Dog bowls, a blanket and towels were provided in the room. Our luggage was kindly placed in our room for us. We had a very early departure, and the valet ensured our car was available right on time. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Expertly appointed rooms, impeccable & attentive service, close to everything (shopping, dining, Stanley Park, museums, etc) comfy beds, all without feeling stuffy. I considered Fairmont properties and Wedgewood for our 4 day stay in the city and am beyond thrilled we ultimately stayed at The Loden. I will certainly stay here again

Great service. From the call a few days before our arrival to the bottle of prosecco and a personal note to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The room was amazing. The Tableau restaurant and bar were prefect. Top it off with a great location. Thanks to the whole staff (the turndown service was a nice surprise too).

We arrived at 10:00am this morning after getting off a cruise. The walk from the cruise port is walkable, but on a slight hill. It took us about 15 minutes walking briskly. Once we arrived, we were greeted by two very kind staff members. David assisted us, checking us in. Since regular check-in is not until 15:00 (3:00pm), he was kind enough to store our bags including backpacks. He furthermore offered us water and/ or coffee that is readily available in the lobby. David also offered a map of Vancouver including interesting sights and restaurants around to make our trip more enjoyable. He ensured us to call once the room was ready and assured us that our bags would be moved as soon as the room is ready. Our room was ready at 14:45 (2:45pm). When we got back to the hotel, we were informed that we were upgraded from a Signature Corner Room to the Aura 1-Bedroom Suite. The Suite (1201) on the 12th floor is exquisitely furnished. We are thrilled to be staying in this wonderful Suite at the Loden Hotel. Featuring a coffee bar with seating area, TV and sofa sectional, an amazing bathroom and comfortable king-bed in a gorgeous bedroom, this suite truly has everything one could ask for. However, it is the small touches that make the stay truly special. The Loden offers a pillow menu, paying special attention to comfort and relaxation. The staff is incredibly attentive, assisting with ice for beverages or assisting with choosing coffee at the Nescafé coffee maker, and more.

Central location close to Coal Harbour seawall, lots of shopping and numerous great dining options. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was on par with a 5 star hotel. Valet parking was efficient. Even though the Loden is in the middle of downtown, Melville is one of the quieter streets and the hotel itself is very quiet. In-room Nespresso coffee and a small daily snack were nice touches. We had dinner at the adjacent Tableau Bar Bistro on our last evening and wished we had tried it sooner. It was so good! We will be back.

I had a fantastic experience at the Loden. It is a great property and clearly very carefully designed. However what really made the experience stand out was the staff, especially the personal care and attention shown to each guest and the many thoughtful details included throughout my stay, that made me feel right at home. Everything we like in a city hotel. We especially appreciated the location, that we could bring our dog, and it had a good fitness center. Team is fantastic and our corner room was nice. Our dog loved looking out the floor-to-ceiling windows. We hadn’t planned at eating at the attached restaurant but we did and enjoyed our meal. Overall, stay was great and would love to return.
