Hotel is so dated. Stayed there 13 years ago and it was nice, haven’t done a thing with it since. Clear that there had been lamps in Rooms but not anymore. Basically the room was dark at night. Toilet paper holder falling off wall, toilet seat almost off. Lots of people wanted to use the hot tub at the pool but the jets didn’t work. Worth no more than $100 a night.

The toilet smelly which appeared to be sewage issue. Minibar was packed with alcohol beverages which was not appropriate in our case given we had a young child and would have preferred an empty fridge that would have better meet our needs. Although a fridge was provided, there was no space to accommodate so unfortunately we declined. Overall it was our view that the hotel was not accommodating. I found the bell persons and cleaners were awesome!!

I thought breakfast was paid only to find out max $40 per couple which I can tell you it doesn’t go far in San Diego. My room looked out onto a very noisy railway which was not only the tram but the goods train which seamed miles long.

It is my second time to choose hard rock hotel，and the experience was great. They always have the classic rock and roll vibes. The room is clean and new. The hotel locates in the middle of the gaslight area with lots of food options.

The room was great, however the staff were not too friendly. I get it, it was a busy Saturday with the Deftones concert at Petco and Halloween party inside of hard rock. At check in, I opted for valet service which was the only real customer service I received. The counter person appeared to be overwhelmed however I was the only person in line at the time. When we got back from the concert I tried to claim my free drink at the bar and when I gave him the voucher the bar tender made a face as if it bothered him I was redeeming it. Overall, as my first time going to the hard rock, which I was looking forward to, not sure I’ll be back again.

The hotel staff were amazing and very helpful. Unfortunately the hotel was booked for a large Halloween Party, but the elevators were having issues when we arrived. One elevator was completely un-operable and the other would not allow you to stop on level 2, 3 or 4 and level 3 was our floor. Spending time looking for fire exits to use the stairs in such a nice hotel seemed ridicoulus.

First of all the front desk staff upon checking in we’re not welcoming or inviting Brady was very stale. We went to the hotel for our honeymoon and it was a disaster. My husband was overcharged twice and the hotel says they don’t know how it was done we have had to escalate the situation to corporate. We were made some accommodations That were appreciated. However, overall the trip put a complete damper on our honeymoon due to the overcharging and unexplained charges way past what the deposit was supposed to be. Had to change rooms a few times when offered an upgraded room. The first upgrade was horrible. The second upgrade was very nice however there was no hot water and the toilet stopped.

Positive note only - The supervisor at check in (hispanic lady, beautiful curly long hair) was amazing. All 5 plus stars go to her & the velet guys only. Bith were cwry nice, helpful & welcoming. Negatuve note - At check in, the girl (black lady, long braids) was very unfriendly & rude. She had no right to stick her nose in my business, telling the supervisor what not to do. The suoervisor handle it much better & helped me, while the girl with braids refuse to! Other guest came up & that girl with braids did not welcome anyone or seen her smile one time. She was awful working customer service. The hotel does not have the hard rock cafe, just a heads up & the parking is horrible. Their is no parking at the hotel, unless you pay $60 PER NIGHT for valet on top of room, resort & deposts. For this hotel being the Hard Rock their was very little to see.

Hotel is nice and clean. Close to transportation, petco park and restaurants in gas lamp quarter. I wouldn't plan visiting on a Saturday.They have a pool day club and All seating next to the pool are reserved for bottle service. Regardless if you're a guest, only open seating is on the other side of the pool. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

I have had 3 trips in last 4 months to San Deigo I always stay here!! EVERYBODY HERE ROCKS !!! Truly Amazing how they treat us. I stay at the Hard Rock besides the great Vibe I get when I walk through the doors. The staff from Ashley to Taylor to Johnny to both girls in the gift shop , the Matinance guys or the girls that cleanup after everyone literally All Special People That make us the guests leave our worries behind to just focus on enjoying our stay!! Thank You HARD ROCKERS !!! The Kostecki Family ❤️
