As I was walking in to the lobby at about 4:00, there was a pile of trash overflowing and beside the can in front - it was still there the next morning.
Our room TV didn’t have a remote, and when the clerk brought a new remote, he couldn’t get it to work. Our room, and the entire 2nd floor hallway, smells like an ashtray, and the ac unit in the room was loud and looked abused. I asked to be moved and initially was told no because that was the last room at that rate, but the manager was called and allowed a room change. The new room didn’t smell as strong, but it wasn’t well maintained. There was no shelf by the sink - it looked like there had been one, but it broke off (something was patched up?) so toiletries were on the toilet tank, 4 feet from the sink. The first day, room service only changed the towels and one of the replacements was very small, and the next they only put a reserve tp roll in the room. No beds made, no trash taken out, no cleaning at all. Overall, we stayed here because our water heater was out, but of I hadn’t paid, I would have opted for cold showers.
