I stayed at Stathotels Grand Milan for the Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games 2026. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city centre and was an ideal location because there is a train station near to the hotel with good transport links. After a long day of sightseeing and attending Olympic Games events, it was nice to come back to the hotel and relax in there beautiful spa and rooftop swimming pool. The hotel also has a gym, sauna and steam room. The hotel serves a delicious breakfast and the staff are courteous and always willing to help. Outstanding experience!

If you travel in business and need some space during a long stay this is great. The pool area and sauna feels very dated, crowded and not very fresh. The breakfast was good, the restaurant is not worth it. Pizza in the room from across the street is better.

Excellent room, very clean. Excellent breakfast (loved the bacon!). We asked for a later checkout and the staff at reception very helpfully facilitated this. Safe underground car park. Can’t fault it

We have a great time in this hotel very nice espacius and clean close to the transportation ( train) to go to the central station the only concern is the laundry service very expensive no detergent to wash the clothes you have to go to the closer store to bye, and the area around is not too safe

The restaurant / breakfast staff is very nice, the front desk staff is rather mixed - some are great, some neutral, our lady at check in was not friendly, welcoming nor helpful. To use the pool you are obliged to use (and potentially) buy headcaps and slippers. Of course 20% of people do not comply making the rest feel like idiots and the hotel does nothing about it

The hotel had many rules and regulations, but absolutely no enforcement. We were forced to sign a bunch of papers about pool behavior, and when arriving at the pool it was pure mayhem, with few guests breaking all rules and scarring the rest away with loud and inappropriate behavior. Hotel had no surveillance of pool and fitness, which was messy from guests leaving towels and drinks. When personnel were made aware of issues with noisy and inappropriate behavior at the pool, they did little or nothing to fix this. Breakfast was ok.

The hotel is very nice. Parking is very accessible and it’s near the highway. There’s a very good pizzeria across the street and a supermarket about 2’ away. If you’re using the pool you have to bring your swimming cap and your slippers. A few things surprised me though: they do not have hair conditioner and when I ask Reception they never called me back or send me anything. Also there’s no water dispenser at the gym. Other than that, the hotel is very clean and nice.

First and foremost i will like to Thank the staff there for being so welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was very nice beautiful inside clean rooms the food and bar was very delightful! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in a lavish hotel and the price not being overpriced while enjoying the high end amenities. Transportation was walkable. I stay with my husband and young toddler. And it was very memorable. I give the property all 10’s across the board Darling! Thank you for your hospitality ❤️

Good location- 5 mins walk to the Malpensa express train station at Saronno which is great for our next day early morning flight from Malpensa. Ok dining options, not so good on grocery stores- Aldi and COOP is near, but the quality and selections are not good. Very good restaurant Ristorante Pizzeria I Due Ladroni S.r.l.is within 5 mins walk- excellent pizza and seafood choices.

Bruno at check in was very friendly and was able to get us into our room early after we arrived ahead of schedule. Breakfast was excellent with lots of options. Area is a little rough but is only a five minute walk from hotel to train south to central Milan or north to Como. Big luxury condo building under construction across the street which should improve the area. I’d be interested to see what it is like five years from now.

For us, everything was perfect. Professional & friendly staff. Clean & spacious suite. Approx 5 mins Malpensa Express that brings you to airport or Milan Centrale. Local food & people that are amazing. Close to the Most Beautiful church I’ve seen so far. Truly Blessed. Grazie!
