Disappointing Stay – Did Not Meet Expectations My experience at this hotel did not meet expectations. I booked this property specifically for the indoor pool and, more importantly, the hot tub—neither of which were available during my stay. There was no work being done on either amenity while I was there, and I was not informed at the time of booking or prior to arrival that they would be unavailable. Additionally, the elevators were out of service. After traveling from Chicago in below-freezing temperatures to DFW and then driving an additional three hours to spend time with family, having to repeatedly carry luggage up and down the stairs was extremely inconvenient and frustrating. The breakfast options were also very subpar and added to the overall disappointment. Ultimately, the experience was so unsatisfactory that we did not even stay until checkout. We chose to finish our stay with family instead, as the hotel provided little more than a bed and warm—though not even hot—water. Given the multiple amenity outages, lack of communication, and overall inconvenience, I believe some form of compensation is warranted. I would appreciate a partial refund or appropriate credit for this stay, as the experience did not reflect what was advertised or paid for.

Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful with good attitudes.

One of the best stays recently. The staff was welcoming, the room very clean, the grounds and surroundings safe, and the breakfast had many options.
