It was farther from the airport and port than we expected. However, the staff and facilities made up for the distance. Checkin was quick and easy. The staff were wonderful.
Breakfast and dinners were superb. They had delightful dinners around the pool and also at a lower location.
The shuttle service was wonderful and the driver was very helpful. We got lost and the driver came and found us.
Having several monkeys grazing the trees for flowers outside of our front porch was so cool and entertaining. We will come back again.

The Sugar Cane Club Hotel and Spa is an immaculately well maintained property.
The gardens are a delight to see at this time of year, with a lot of the shrubs in bloom.
The room was large, clean and the bed comfortable. The balcony was a great place to watch the sun set over the ocean.
The restaurant is pleasant with attentive staff serving good, well priced meals.
There were ample sun loungers around the property and the pool.
The real strength of this place is the staff. Nothing too much trouble or too busy to share a bit of banter; all with a friendly smile.
The only criticism I would make is due to the slightly remote location, the shuttle that takes guests to the beach and nearby Speightstown could run more often and later into the evening for those guests that want to explore the bars and restuarants, without having to specify a pickup time.
