Great little hotel in quiet area walking distance all round Vichy. Only thing I did not need was phone call from reception at 11.01am as we were about to leave telling check out was 11am…

The personal involvement of the owner and her attention to detail and guests and particularly how she shook hands with her staff when she met them in the morning;a truly charming intelligent and sophisticated lady.

Booked a premium room, good size with nice view and balcony out over a small park area (and car parking, but this didn't detract).
Some noise from neighbouring rooms and pipework but not enough to be a real disturbance.
All the staff were super pleasant and helpful. An enjoyable buffet breakfast that did feel worth the €16.
Vichy itself had a really nice feel to it, lovely to walk around and enjoyed a great meal in Bouillon des Artistes restaurant, the only place we found with a veggie option, lovely atmosphere and felt fat more relaxed than the "smart" establishments around Parc des Sources
