The rooms were TINY and in general the hotel was way too overpriced for what it was. The AC didn’t work on the first day, so I asked the staff for help. They guaranteed that it would be fixed by the time I was back, then when I returned I was literally told that they’re not going to do anything about it nor change my room. They said I can open the window to sleep, but there was scaffolding directly outside the window and literally anyone could just climb up the ladder and walk into my room. When I brought this up I was guaranteed (again) that it’s safe… their reasoning was that all the AC is connected and other guests might complain. I don’t know how that’s relevant to mine NOT WORKING in the middle of a heatwave, nor why other guests simply can’t turn theirs off if they’re too cold, but no other explanation was given. On the second day of my 2 day business trip, the fire alarm went off at 6am so all the guests went downstairs. And without any notice or acknowledgment it was just turned off and we all meandered back to our rooms wondering if it’s even safe to do so. The staff were very friendly, but absolutely indifferent to my totally reasonable complaints. Don’t let my polite wording mislead you. With the room being as small as it is, with nothing but scaffolding for a view, in the middle of a heatwave, combined with the fire alarm, meant my stay was rather horrific. I’ve retroactively CU singed previous 1 star reviews on hotel to 2 stars as this hotel set the bar low

The personnel at the hotel were very accommodating and lovely people. They helped with a few of the issues we had. The breakfast did not look substantial enough to warrant the price and the rooms were basically the size of a large closet. The bathrooms did not have any soap or wash cloths on the sink yet it was clean and maintained by the room steward quite nicely. This hotel was a second choice after our first one was canceled mysteriously probably by the hotel Eiffel Rive Gauche because we had booked at such a low rate. hotels.com did not verify a mysterious cancellation with us and we lost our three nights in Paris that would’ve been in a much better location. This hotel we stayed at was quite far from where we would’ve been originally booked. hotels.com cannot give us any answers as to why they can’t provide information as to who canceled our reservation. They offered $100 coupon which was ridiculous because the price of the rooms that we had booked out had gone up substantially over the year to three times the price. This hotel was the least expensive that we could find and had to serve our purposes although it was not convenient to the attractions we were signed up to see. There will still be some legal matters with hotels.com given that they allowed for a cancellation without verifying on any level with us. And when we did speak to them and told them that we had not canceled they said great have a great trip. But the room had been canceled and we were stuck.

Great location and friendly and helpful staff. It’s a nice walk to the Arc de Triomphe and there staff were great when we asked for extra towels and a hairdryer. Rooms are nice and cosy - only comment is that the shower in our room was really awkward to get into

It was not too far from the centre and was next to a metro so getting around the city was very easy and cheap. The only thing that wasn’t good was the water was lukewarm so you couldn’t drink it.

The staff were unhelpful.. would not bring more stuff out, I had to resort to finding things myself but couldnt.. after numours trips to the kitchen finally managed to get the 2 pancakes after showing pictures on my phone! I feel this was very poor and not what i would expect after having paid so much money for the buffet! I will be formally complaining to the hotel also! if you do happen to stay here.. stay clear of the rip of buffet breakfast!

Check in was ok, hotel is in a good location. Basic room as described, but the sheets were not super clean and the water pressure in the bathroom was pretty low. The major problem was that the AC in my room under the roof didn't work (they knew about the problem but didn't tell me at check in) and it was during the heatwave. The staff was rude about the situation, they weren't trying to find a solution until I started to lose my patience. They finally gave me another room. Five minutes later I overheard the staff complaining about me in the lobby. So unprofessional.

A friend of mine were staying for one night, and it was in the middle of a heat wave. The air conditioning in the room was on the whole night, but we couldn't regulate it. The minimum was 19 degrees celsius. Even though it blew all night, and made a lot of noise, the room was so warm that I woke up with drops of sweat on my forehead, my upper lip and it looked like I had just showered! I of course immediately went to do just that, but the bathroom doesn't have ventilation either, so as soon as I was done showering, I started sweating again. When I checked the air condition, it had stopped blowing at full speed like I had programmed it to do before going to bed, and it blew hot air! It still said 19 degrees on the wall reader, so needless to say I did not enjoy my stay. This hotel is ill equipped for warm days. Do not stay there during the summer. It was close to the metro though, so that was practical.

This was one of those hotels that you stay in if you are not really bothered about where you stay when you go to Paris. After all you don't spend much time in the hotel. Attention to detail was poor as there were many faults. Didn't really find the staff very helpful . It was situated in a quaint area thou if you look around. We had a fantastic stay at Campanille Paris Ouest. It is right by a metro station and is in a lovely quiet Paris suburb but still only 15 minutes into the city centre. What really stood out was the customer service. The hotel did us 3 massive favours! We stayed at the hotel on two separate nights, 2 days apart. On both occasions they allowed us to check in early and in between the 2 stays they let us leave a massive amount of luggage so we did not have to drag it to disneyland with us! We can't say thank you enough for being so helpful!

the room I stay was very small the shower leaked water all over the the bathroom floor the elevator can only hold 2 people with luggage which was quite inconvenient The TV didn't work when we stayed the hotel was about 10 min metro ride away but the metro station was very close to the hotel, only a block away. ... people that don't mind the distance between hotel and attractions. But the metro is about 5min walk from hotel and it takes about 15min to get to Eiffel Tower. Very nice and tidy rooms, friendly staff. it's quite noisy outside but if you walking around seeing attractions that will not be a problem for you. I really enjoyed the stay in the hotel.

Out of the way. Not many restaurants nearby. Twenty to thirty minutes away from most attractions by public transportation. room was pretty small. Positive was it had air conditioning, and the bed was pretty comfortable.
