Castillo Lanjarón

This is an older but very well kept family owned hotel. It doesn’t have any real amenities to speak of. But it was extremely clean and the staff is very accommodating. This small town has plenty of restaurants and bars. A public pool and other things to do. I highly recommend it.

Excellent value hotel located in a central yet peaceful and quiet part in Lanjaron. I stayed in one of the Double twin bed Rooms, with excellent views of the castle and mountains in the distance, the photos online really are representative. The bedroom, bathroom and balcony were all very spacious. Spotlessly clean, the bed was made and toileteries were replenished on a daily basis. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and attentive, inspite of my poor grasp of the Spanish language! Would say the only thing lacking was a small Refrigerator, however this is only a minor thing and I managed without it during my stay, particularly with the Pica Pica 24hrs vending machines on the main street in town.
