    We had a wonderful stay. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was great! The only reason not 5 stars is bathroom floods when you shower due to slow drain.

    Stayed here in past. Love location. Paid for and booked a “premium “ room through Agoda. Certainly NOT a Premium room. Small. Not as advertised. Asked front desk and they said premium rooms vary in size. Ok, a clean room but not Premium. In the past we stayed in a Premium. Wonderful bar/breakfast staff—superb. Excellent breakfast. Front desk very welcoming on arrival, chilly and sort of “We will never see you again upon departure. “ Frankly, I’d stay here again because of location. But will certainly check out similar properties near. No, not 5 star. A bit irritated that our room was not what Agoda sold us.

    I was disappointed with my stay at Palazzo Barocci. While the hotel is within walking distance of St. Mark’s Square, the location is not as convenient as it initially seems. There are very few restaurants, bars, or places to enjoy a drink nearby, so every evening you either have to walk quite a distance or take the vaporetto to find some atmosphere. After dark, the area feels completely deserted. One of the biggest missed opportunities is the hotel itself. There is very little effort to create an enjoyable evening experience for guests. They have a beautiful rooftop terrace that could be a fantastic place to relax with a cocktail after a day of sightseeing, but it remains closed unless you have a reservation, it makes no sense. Considering the price, I expected much more in terms of guest experience. The hotel is pleasant enough, but it simply doesn’t offer enough value to justify its rates. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay here again.
