Holiday Inn Express London - Park Royal by IHG

We stayed here a total of 9 nights; 4 upon arrival in London and 5 more nights at the end of our holiday. We just loved the hotel and the location right next to North Acton station was perfect for travel within the city. Everyone on the staff was so nice and helpful to us, we appreciated everyone of them. The hot breakfast was great each morning. The only bad thing I can say was the internet. It never really worked great on my laptop the entire stay. Sometimes it would be strong, but more often the signal was very weak and spotty. This happened in both rooms we stayed in, 4th floor at the beginning and 3rd floor at the end. Internet is very important to travelers for communicating to people back home and planning the next day's activities. Having a good strong internet is not an option, it is a necessity for having a first class hotel. The hotel should really look into having their internet improved, then it would be a 5 star stay all the way.

In general the stay was good. Hotel was right next to the train station and there is a bus station right in front. Mostly all employees were helpful, having Halina in reception going always the extra mile in making us feel welcome. Always so cheerful and happy. Thank you for that! Our stay was for 7 days and having the same breakfast everyday was bit boring & tiring. The really bad part was how nasty was the room rug. It had stains all over and all the edges were darker due to dust. Common areas were clean and organized though.

Very convenient location for traveling around metropolitan London area. Breakfast at no additional charge is a bonus as not much food options available in the area if you’re starting day early. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Fantastic location within steps of North Acton tube station. Great base for exploring London. Good value, no frills accommodation.
