    Novotel was great for our morning run. It is also within walking distance from the Tate Modern. The breakfast buffet was complete and the dinning room very pleasant. The restaurant only serves pizza after 10pm and our servers were not the most competent but a good option to grab a late bite and a brew while watching the games. The room was clean and complete and the staff was able to move us fix an extra bed for our daughter but only after we requested it even though the reservation was clearly for three. Access to the gym is only granted if requested at front desk and charges to the room are also not automatic, which made the first experiences inconvenient. Overall we had a great time in London with this hotel as our hub and would stay again.

    The room is slightly small, and guests need to bring their own slippers and toothbrush. However, there is no special note about this, so it is not the first choice for a family of three.

    Front desk service is good, but hotel location is really bad. The small alley that lead to hotel main door and carpark to the back door are both not safe. I was followed by strangers every evening while walking to hotel. Borough market area was super rowdy, and defo not for family with kids. Room was extremely small with limited storage space, and the shower area drain is constantly choked, one lift is down… Overall i wont recommend and probably this is the worst novotel i ever stayed.
