    All the staff were fantastic throughout our stay. The food was excellent no complaints at all. The beverages were quality. The rooms were comfortable and clean also no complaints there. 4 pools take your pick. You will not hear one complaint from us. Our experience was excellent. Truly reccommend Riu Jalisco 🙋‍♀️🙋👍

    Beautiful, modern facilities with all the amenities you could need. Food is fabulous. Only concern is slippery tiles around the pools - be very careful 🙏

    My wife and I got really sick while staying in this hotel. My wife got so bad that I had to call a doctor for her and get her IVd, we both had high fever, shivers, diarrhea and vomiting. I could barely walk and my wife was stuck in her bed for several days . We came with our 2 kids who had to stay in a room with us for several days and didn’t enjoy any beach /pool/ activities neither did we obviously. My wife was unfit to travel so we had to rebook our return trip for later date and stay in this hotel for several more days. We spent several thousand US$ for doctors, re-booking flights and meds and stayed sick in our room so we didn’t enjoy our stay at all. The hotel customer service refused to recognize any hotel responsibility and didn’t help us in any way. I think we got sick from the food or drinks they serve since we both got it and our kids didn’t as the kids ate just fries and pizza and drank sodas or bottled water. We never drank tap water there and even brushed teeth with bottled water so we were very cautious on our end still got the germ. Our room was ok, recently renovated but you can see the freshly painted shower floor all went off beneath our feet and got a bit hazardous with flaking paint having sharp ages. Also the room had a rotten/ mold smell so much so that we had to laundry absolutely all our apparel since it was carrying that smell as we came home. The main restaurant wasn’t up to sanitary standards. Whenever we wanted to sit outside there were roaches on / around the tables. The main pools were constantly dirty with bunch of hair and small trash floating my wife saw even some poop as if someone had a no2 accident and she reported it to the pool attendant who pretty much did nothing. The kids pool by itself was OK but see how tiles near the kids pool are destroyed and these create quite a bit of concrete decay. We def wouldn’t recommend staying in this hotel.
