A last minute booking, but what a great find. Really comfortable and clean hotel in the perfect location. Walk out and opposite are lifts (or stairs) up into the old town full of lovely restaurants and bars, and carry onwards and upwards to get to the castle for breathtaking views. Turn left instead and you can reach the river and can explore the streets or hire a boat or pedalo to cruise the river. Everything is in walking distance, although be prepared for steps as its all on a steep hill. We loved our visit and one night stay in Marburg.

The staff on this hotel is not professional! The receptionist called my room and raised her voice at me! The other one she was serving another guest by washing a spoon for him and I was wanted to check the parking ticket, I asked for check my ticket out but she refused said that she needed to serve the guest first, she literally stairs at the dishwasher for more than 5 minutes doing nothing while she could scan my ticket rather then waiting. Most of the employees are having a bad attitude overall don’t expect to be treated with respect
