Nice and clean, with comfy beds. Really liked the family rooms setup, and the chillin area with the fire pit. Much quieter than some other inns along same road, as it is set down from it (except the rooms right at the front of course). Great location and we had a lovely view of the hills.

Quiet weekend at the Loyal Duke. Coffee is good, breakfast more suitable for 5-8 yr old kids though. I think this property is good value and close to everything. It is however starting to show its age. Might be time to update a little.

Clean room and really enjoyed the family suite with 2 adjoined rooms and 3 queen size beds and 2 bathrooms. Near Monarch to ski. Warm indoor pool and 3 hot tubs. Great breakfast! We always stay here when we come to Salida
