A Wonderful Family Getaway – Highly Recommend! We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Avándaro and will definitely be coming back. The hotel is impeccably clean and has a warm, welcoming family atmosphere that makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. We especially appreciated how pet-friendly the staff were — it’s not always easy to find a place this comfortable for the whole family, four-legged members included. The restaurants on the property are a real highlight. The food quality is excellent, and the service is attentive and friendly. Every meal felt like a treat. The Wi-Fi connection can be a bit spotty in some areas, but honestly, that turned out to be a blessing — this is a place to unplug, slow down, and enjoy your surroundings. The pool is always spotless and kept at a perfect heated temperature, so it’s enjoyable year-round. The grounds are beautiful, and one of our favorite things was being able to walk into the village of Avándaro right from the hotel — a lovely stroll through scenic landscapes. All in all, this is the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again, especially for a weekend escape with the family. Highly recommended!

The bar at night is practically empty, so don’t expect a lively scene — but if you’re looking to unwind, that can actually be a plus. The grounds are great for walking, and the food is fresh, healthy, and genuinely enjoyable. A few things to note: the pool was a bit cold for the season despite being heated, and the fitness classes at the gym tend to get crowded, so we ended up going to another hotel for the spa experience. We also had a citywide blackout during our stay, which left us without electricity or Wi-Fi for a while — not the hotel’s fault, but worth mentioning. On the bright side, the location is excellent — you can walk into the town center easily, which is great for exploring. All in all, a pleasant stay, and I’d happily come back with friends again.
