    The hotel is very conveniently located in the 6th arrondissement. It’s on a quiet street. The front desk staff are friendly, helpful and fluent in English. The “La Madame” room is well sized with a comfortable bed. There is both a bathtub and shower unit in the bathroom. Unfortunately there was a slight sewer smell in the bathroom, but this is a common problem for old buildings in Paris. Luckily there’s a large window in the bathroom so you can get fresh air in the bathroom. The drain in the shower was a bit clogged, so the water didn’t drain very well. The breakfast was nice with fresh baguette, pastries and butter, which is one of the reasons for visiting France! But there’s plenty of cafes and bakeries nearby if breakfast is not included in your booking.
