    I had a really nice stay here. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly, and the property was well maintained. The location was convenient too, which made getting around easy. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and a great value for the price.

    One or two nights okay, longer = no way. I was told by Jacques the GM that the room would be cleaned every other day, a refresh day, then a full cleaning. They came to refresh but never ever full cleaned. We asked 4 times, but it never happened. They did not vacuum, they did not change bed linen even though we stayed 2 full weeks. One guy at the desk even said, "I am not sure if housekeeping does that". I replied, "what if I stay one month? Two months? You never clean?" Nobody is truly checking on housekeeping and managing them. They do what they want. The washer and dryer, one each for the whole hotel on the 4th floor. The dryer on high heat has to go through two dry cycles to dry clothes. The bed in the room, it needs to be replaced. I am about 70 kgs or about 150+ pounds, but I can feel the springs in the bed and it gave me a back ache. It is one of the cheaper hotels in the area, but I found another one which is newer, quite close, and has better overall service. The only thing that I can say for La Quinta is if you spend one night or two, eat a breakfast it might be okay....if you can find a table to sit down. Longer, and you will find out how lazy and unresponsive they are to long term stays.
