Quiet hotel, Close mini Mart, Great Breakfast, Very clean

Pull out bed stunk horribly, asked for different mattress or room but no alernatives besides smell spray offered. When asked for bedding staff stated they only had one blanket left. Room was reserved for 6 people two people now had to sleep on the floor due to smelly pull out bed and could not even get their own blankets. Room booked for 6 people but only had 2 towels. Called and asked for more towels and 2 more towels were brought up quickly but still not enough for all the people in the room. The continental breakfast was good and had a variety of foods. The pool was wonderfully warm and the hot tub was great too.

Pool was broken, I completely understand that these things happen. Staff kept giving my children false hopes that it would be open, knowing there was no chance of it. Tried to discuss with staff and was told on repeat how hard they were working on it. It’s frustrating they did not understand that falsely telling my kids it could happen was unacceptable. They kept saying there was a swim center close that we had to pay to visit, would have been nice if they gave us tickets to go. We paid extra for a pool as well, did not receive any discount or money back. Overall the service was poor and disappointing. Felt like I was never listened to.

It's a solid place to stop for the night when traveling down I-84. One of the few places where a sofa bed is available which is nice when traveling in groups of three. Beds are fine but too hard a mattress for me. We've visited twice and I've always had issues sleeping the first night here. Cleanliness this time wasn't so good, there was food in the fridge from previous travelers that hadn't been cleaned out.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was OK, nothing special about it. I didn't like that all the breads, muffins etc. was in zip lock baggies, too wasteful and hate to see all of them go into a landfill. Also the pool was open Friday evening and then closed Saturday late afternoon for servicing. Don't understand why it didn't get serviced Saturday which tends to be a busy day. Not a huge deal but we were looking forward to the hot tub Saturday evening.

The hotel had a good pool and breakfast, but the cleanliness was lacking. There were crumbs all along the hallway and some random nuts on the floor in our room and one of our comforters had a damp spot when we arrived.

Great stay. Went for weekend skiing on Mt. Hood. Great base camp. Near Hood River restaurants and Brew Pubs. Staff very helpful. Walmart nearby. Clean facilities and comfortable bedding!
