The bottom line is we would come back. Our room was clean and had newer carpet, nothing fancy, which is fine by us. Breakfast was good: hard boiled eggs, jimmy dean brekkie sandwiches, waffles, yogurt, cereal, apples, bagels, English muffins…. Decent coffee including brewed decaf. I didn’t realize that you have to request housekeeping if you want it. Only used one day and it was light housekeeping - bed made and some towels.

I'm on a budget when it comes to hotel stays, and I have been staying at this hotel for many years when I visit my mother. The cleanliness has really gone downhill. My daughter always wants to swim, and the pool was really horrible this time. The water smelled like stagnant lake water. Like health code violation level stink. Our room was very muggy, like damp from the carpet being wet or something. The bedding felt damp. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good for what you're spending. I just can't imagine staying there again. Going to have to spend more for somewhere else, I guess.
