Perfect location for walking and great access to transit and aqua bus. Hotel feels tired and needs an update especially for the price. Staff are always friendly. Restaurant needs more vegan options.

I have stayed at this property many times and this time I was disappointed because the front desk staff was not friendly and did not recognizing my online checkin. He did not give me my VIP amenities. Disappointed because I pay premium to stay at this property.

You are paying for the views not the room. Views are gorgeous right on water. 5 min walk to public market was great for my 8 day stay. Rooms are very basic. It is an old hotel. My toilet was so close to the sink I needed to wash my hands to the side. Staff was overall very nice respectable. Front desk I found some staff were excellent some ok. Only a couple of staff knew the local area which I found astonishing for the price they were charging the week I was there. Room service was inconsistent. Cleaning was good but what they did every day was different depending on who was

A few things that need improvement: I believe that the restaurant opens too late for ppl who are trying to get to tours & an early start. Also, many hotels offer free fresh coffee in the lobby. I think you should consider this. Also, the coffee in the room was really bitter. Other than that, your property was lovely!

The air conditioning never went below 24.5. Too hot to sleep. The bed moved off of the plywood base, which made it difficult to get into and out of bed (bruises). The in room coffee did not have tea. The coffee pods did not identify which one was decaf. Perhaps why I was awake all night. The drawer where the coffee supplies were kept fell out if you pulled it out far enough to reach the coffee supplies. The person at the check in desk spoke quietly, mumbled and spoke quickly. I asked 3 times for her to repeat what she had said, which turned out to be a spiel about the hot tub, but I never did decifer the information. Not a top notch experience. Oh - the breakfast menu is sorely lacking.

Location can’t be beat. You are literally on Granville Island. Great check-in. Lovely hotel. A bit dated but comfortable. We felt very safe. Quiet hotel. We ate at the restaurant there (Dockside Grill) and it was perfect. Beautiful view of the harbour from where we were seated. Hotel was comfortable. Not much of a view (2nd floor, of the parking lot) but for one night, we were okay with it. Friendly reception. Cleaning staff smiled or said hello. We just had one issue. Requested extra pillows and had to follow up twice. Not sure if they were short staffed.

The location is ideal. The Island is a little get away from the hustle of the city, and offers amazing views of a really pretty city. I didn't love that the room was VERY dated, cramped and not well maintained. I am ok with dated, if it's maintained. Our room was not luxury, like the hotel claims. Staff was friendly, and the location was wonderful.

Staffing was over the moon wonderful & location!! Cannot say enough about the staffing… excellent . Building and especially bathroom felt dated… I was directly across the hall from elevator…second floor ….bang bang bang … two nights …again and again and again and again… repeat Couple of late night folks coming home…going somewhere in late hours? Check in?? Someone had to get the crappy room …. It was me :( Change rooms if you get this room, you will be happier
