    I stayed one night at the hotel. The room is decent but a window did not shut all the way so it was cold and noisy in the room. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and the location pretty close to tourist attractions. The hotel offers decent value

    The location is great, almost everything is walking distance. Although amenities were limited, it's nice to have long warm shower after a cold day.

    I was checked in by the staff ***, who apparently provided me with incorrect information. Firstly, the room that he checked me in has a faulty lock and I requested for a different room given I was a solo traveller and safety is priority. He told me that as I am already checked in to this room and a deposit charge was made on my credit card, there would be a second deposit charge on my credit card if he were to check me into the new room. Hence, he encouraged me to take the existing room with the faulty lock but I insisted on a new room. Upon check out, I came to know that the deposit charge on the credit card is tied to the reservation booking and not the room so there would not have been a second charge on the card. Secondly, I asked if there was a fridge in the room and he mentioned that some rooms have and some do not and mine do not and a fridge will be an item that I will have to request for on demand. To that, I said yes and to have the fridge delivered to my room. It is absurd to think that a fridge can be delivered on demand? In any case, when I got into the room, there was already a fridge and there was noone who came to 'deliver' a fridge of course. I hope that *** is able to ensure he has the right information before informing guests anything incorrect.
