Ocean Park Inn was the perfect unexpected stay in San Diego.
I originally ended up staying here because of a layover, but I enjoyed the location, the hotel, and the overall experience so much that I decided to stay an extra day. The location is beautiful and convenient, with such a peaceful beach atmosphere that made it easy to relax and enjoy myself.
The staff was also amazing, but I especially want to recognize Jonathan. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. He made the check-in process smooth and even followed up before and after to make sure everything was going well. He truly made me feel like I was receiving special treatment, and that level of care stood out.
It’s rare to find a hotel that gives you both a great location and genuinely warm service, but Ocean Park Inn did exactly that. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting San Diego.

Recently remodeled and in great condition. Rented bikes from front desk and enjoyed Pacific and Mission beach. Best location! On beach and walking distance to great restaurants and shopping.

During my one night stay at this hotel I interacted with no fewer than four hotel staff members at the font desk and they were ALL wonderful!!!
They help answer my questions, gave me advice about where to go to run some errands in the area, and provided me change for doing laundry. They were all super helpful and accommodating to my needs!
