Stayed here for only one night on my way from Swakopmund to Etosha/Ongava. Regretted not staying longer as the lodge was beautiful and the service perfect. The lodge is well hidden between the rocks and is perfectly integrated with the scenery. The decoration is also beautiful and everything looks tasteful and clean, yet warm and welcoming. The Rock Suite was amazing! Very spacious, beautifully decorated and with everything you need to feel at home. There’s only an outside shower and toilet, though, so it’s less comfortable when it’s cold. You have privacy, nonetheless, and there was always hot water with good pressure. I didn’t see any bugs inside the room, but they provide repellent and insecticide if needed. Wi-Fi was ok, not strong enough for streaming or downloading large files but doable for web browsing, WhatsApp and so on. I only had time for one activity when I arrived, “Twyfelfontein, Burnt Mountain and Organ Pipes Excursion”, and it was very interesting. Especially the engravings. I highly recommend doing it! I was also able to see elephants, so even though I didn’t go on a nature game drive (I had to leave early next morning), I could still enjoy wildlife sightings. The staff was always very polite and friendly. The food was really nice. At breakfast you’re spoiled with a huge tray, and everything comes very well presented, and you can also order eggs and other warm options. Dinner was also very good. I was just expecting some surprise since it was my birthday during my stay but that seems to have passed under the radar. For a luxury camp, I assumed they would do something nice for these occasions but it’s ok, I still had a wonderful time.

Amazing setting and incredible lodge architecture, fits perfectly into the landscape. Magic sundowner, great food and very friendly staff. Would have loved to stay longer.
